Bright Star’s journey began in 1950, when Khub Chand Sawhney founded KCS Kashmir Shawl Emporium, a retail space built on fine shawls and trusted craftsmanship. In 1991, recognising growing international demand, Sanjeev Sawhney established Bright Star as an export-focused manufacturing company. Today, Bright Star is led by Sanjeev Sawhney and Sarthi Sawhney, continuing a legacy shaped by quality, design, and global relevance.
